Your athlete
has the talent.
We build the
mental game.
The 80/20 Athlete trains 6th–12th grade student athletes in the 80% of performance that's mental — confidence under pressure, freedom from fear of mistakes, and the time mastery to win at sport, school, and life. Based in South Florida — coaching athletes worldwide via virtual sessions.
One conversation. No pressure. Just clarity.
"My son had the talent and the work ethic but kept tightening up in big games. Chris gave him the mindset and structure to actually perform at the level we always knew he was capable of."
"We thought he just needed to train harder. Turns out what he needed was the right mental system. The difference in six weeks was unreal — calmer in pressure, more disciplined, more confident on the field."
"I always felt like I had more in me but couldn't figure out how to actually execute when it mattered. Chris gave me the mental game and the accountability to finally play with the freedom and confidence I always knew I was capable of."
Talent without
the mental game
gets wasted.
Your athlete isn't underperforming because they don't care or don't train hard. They're underperforming because nobody has ever taught them the mental side of the game — the 80% that decides who actually shows up when it matters.
30 minutes. No pitch. Just clarity.
Crushes practice, shrinks in games
You've seen what they can do in training. But when the lights come on and pressure hits — something different shows up.
Playing scared of mistakes
Hesitating, second-guessing, gripping too tight. They want to play free — but the fear of messing up keeps getting in the way.
Training overruns school — or vice versa
Practice, lifts, film, games. Then schoolwork. Then exhaustion. Something is always slipping — and they have no real plan to balance it.
One bad rep ruins the next ten
A miss, a bad call, a turnover — and they spiral. They don't have a tool to reset in the moment, so the whole game tilts.
In their own head
Self-doubt, comparison, perfectionism. The talent is there — but the mental noise keeps them from playing the way they actually can.
No life outside the sport
All grind, no fun. Burnout is creeping in and they've forgotten what it's like to actually be a young person who loves their sport.
30 minutes. No pitch. Just clarity.
80% of athletic performance is mental. The skills that separate the great ones from everyone else — and the inner game that no skills coach, strength coach, or club program will ever teach your athlete.

These are the 7 mental skills your athlete will build. Here's exactly how we teach them.
Book a Free Parent Strategy CallWe'll walk through exactly which pillars your athlete needs most.
How we build the mental game.
The 7 pillars above are what your athlete learns. This is the proven delivery model we use to actually teach, reinforce, and build them — week by week, session by session, season by season.
Weekly 1-on-1 Coaching
A private, weekly session with your coach — custom tailored to where your athlete is right now, what they're working through in season or off-season, and what needs to move next. No templates. No generic advice. Just a plan built specifically for them.
Action Items & Homework
Learning without application is just information. Every session ends with clear action items — mental reps to practice in training, in games, and in school. This is what turns coaching insights into the kind of mental game that actually shows up under pressure.
Daily Accountability
Regular — and when needed, daily — check-ins to make sure what's been learned is actually being applied. Consistency doesn't happen by accident. We create the structure that makes it inevitable.
Parent Progress Reports
Regular updates so you can see the growth happening — and share your perspective on what you're noticing at home. We take confidentiality seriously. What your student wants kept private, stays private. The coaching relationship only works when it's a safe space — for both of you.
Group Workshops
Access to group workshops — in person or virtual — where athletes connect with others in the program. Socratic-style learning, peer accountability, and the powerful realization that other driven young athletes are doing the same mental work.

Built for this generation
The 80/20 Athlete isn't a solo operation. It's a team of coaches and mentors who've lived in the world of high-level sport — and show up every week to build the mental game in this generation of athletes.
My early twenties were the hardest years of my life. Addiction. Anxiety. No direction. I spent years trying to figure out on my own what the right mentor would have shown me in 90 days — the same mental game elite athletes need to actually perform under the lights.
Once I learned to master my mindset, my routines, and my fear of failure — everything changed. I became a Top 10 Coach in the World with Tony Robbins, spoke at TEDxMiami, and now coach high performers and athletes around the world. I wish someone had taught me these mental skills at 16 instead of 28. That's exactly why I built The 80/20 Athlete.
"I'm not a skills coach. I'm the guy who takes a talented athlete and helps them master the 80% of performance that's mental — the inner game no club, school, or strength program is going to teach them."
By 60 days: Consistency kicks in. Less hesitation in games, faster recovery from bad reps, and the mental tools start becoming automatic. Performance typically begins to reflect the inner shift.
By 90 days: A different athlete. Confident in pressure, free of the fear of mistakes, and able to hold training, school, and a real life at the same time. This is where the transformation becomes undeniable.
